Rebranding Details

BSL’s team wanted to create a logo that was reminded people of Chicago’s hand-painted grocery signs. They wanted to maintain his brand colors from his aldermanic campaign.
The client loved Zohran Mamdani’s branding and graphics. BSL is incredibly progressive and was running as an independent in a controversial race. We wanted his branding to show the uniqueness of both him and his politics.

Soccer Reaching for Triplet Stars Pattern

Drawing from BSL’s love of soccer and our campaign metaphor of it as the “great equalizer,” this pattern creates a fun visual for his kick-off and kick-back events.

BSL Capitol Imagery

US Capitol asset for BSL’s graphics that uses his brand colors and draws in the Chicago 6-point star. Like the other graphics in his branding, the capitol is grainy to appear hand-drawn.
