My creativity has motivated me since the moment I was able to express it.

I’ve turned credit cards into art, decorated my home with thrifted and vintage art, developed my own branding package, created stickers and postcards to celebrate my dog’s birthday, designed and printed books for my family’s big moments.

When I neglect writing, designing, editing, making shorts, or even singing in the car, I don’t feel like myself. I am a person who bores easily and turns that boredom into determination and ambition. I learn something every day to prevent restlessness.

When you’ve piqued my creativity, you’ve got my passion. And I’m not a difficult person to inspire.

My Experience

  • I’ve written and directed 10+ documentary, experimental, and narrative short films in the past year on micro-budgets between $0-$1200. My filmmaking is deeply personal to me. I try to explore themes that relate most to my life.

My first short film “NOTICE ME,” metaphorically explored college mental health struggles. This film was featured in the Mental Filmness Film Fest Film and a Semi-Finalist in the Blow-Up Arthouse Film Fest.

I’ve been lucky to pursue many academic opportunities to expand my filmmaking skills at UChicago, NYU Tisch, CUNY CSI, and Eicar International Film & Television School in Paris. During the “Filmmaking in Paris” program with CUNY CSI and Eicar, I wrote and directed the short film “Paris Est Une Femme” that was selected for screening at the French Embassay in New York.

For my BA thesis at UChicago, I created a short documentary on the experiences of 8 people with Cystic Fibrosis. This project, "Side Effect May Include," discussed the impact of the groundbreaking medication Trikafta on the health of these patients. This film used a multimedia lens of 16mm film, digital videography, and Zoom interviews.

In my professional experiences, I have worked as a Documentary Production intern with Strategy for Access NFP on a series about accessible locations in Chicago. This included social media video editing and scheduling for the launch of the series. At Stomping Ground Strategies, I have produced long- and short-form video content, handling scheduling, logistics, and editing for distribution across YouTube and social platforms. For our current video series, I filmed and ran audio for multiple interviews, completing the project through editing to distribution.

  • I have developed my graphic design skills in many different fields since high school. I worked on layout design and editing for multiple magazines, most notably as Layout Editor for High Fidelity music magazine, wherein I would design the entire magazine from scratch for online publishing on a small student team.

Professionally, I have brought my graphic design skills to every job I’ve worked. First for the Radiology department at UChicago, creating posters and presentations for the department. With Strategy for Access NFP, I would create social posts and cover designs for the company’s YouTube account, working closely with the CEO. With Stomping Ground Strategies, I have led creative for over 20 client accounts. I create static and animated graphics for social media, YouTube long-form content, long-form print content, presentations and all other requests.

  • My passion for film and creativity lead me to join extracurricular activities at UChicago. As president of Fire Escape Films, I directed operations for the university’s largest student-run production organization, managing an 11-person committee and $40k annual budget. Additionally, I managed scheduling, logistics, and production for 20+ short films biannually, as well as large-scale events, including film festivals and premieres with merchandise, catering, and film projection.

In my current position as an Independent Contractor with Stomping Ground Strategies, I manage a full client schedule, balancing deadlines for 20+ clients and ensuring timely, detail-oriented project completion. I oversee projects with rapid response turnaround, shifting priorities, and maintaining discretion with sensitive client information.

  • At my position as a Creative Designer with Stomping Ground Stratgies, I coordinate and collaborate directly with political leaders, government officials, and nonprofit executives to develop branding strategies and deliverables, with clear recommendations. This often includes building out branding from scratch, with logo development and branding guidelines or creating a color scheme and aesthetic from just a logo and political priorities.
